KathleenLights Super Shock shadow by ColourPop is so pretty…
The white and clear packaging with metallic “COLOURPOP” on the top is plain and simple, but it has a sturdy feel that doesn’t scream cheap. An interesting detail to me is the woven? imprint on the shadow; not exactly honeycomb, but kinda like that 🙂 It’s cool.
When you touch the shadow with your finger, it feels a bit spongy and very soft. I got the most opaque application with my finger (don’t be afraid to press in there) and a dense shadow brush…a fluffy shadow brush provided a sheer, golden copper shimmer.
KathleenLights is a beautiful shade with a pearlized finish, but the shimmer fallout during application is intense. I prefer applying it with my finger and then using a brush to carefully blend, in order to reduce the sparkles that land under my eyes 🙂
I really love that the products are made in the U.S. and this eyeshadow is only $5 last I checked! You can see in my ColourPop haul that it came packaged nicely and the shipping didn’t take long, either. There’s also a soft spot in my heart for Santa Monica, CA so there’s that lol.
