This is the first Jane Iredale product I’ve tried!
I purchased this when Amazon was having their luxury beauty promotion, so I thought it would be fun to try a new-to-me brand.
What caught my eye about Jane Iredale is that it’s supposed to be a healthier/natural makeup brand. Right under the brand name it says “the skin care makeup”, and I’ve definitely been interested in taking better care of my skin and using better ingredients.
There are the ingredients of the Disappearing concealer above. It’s made in the USA and is cruelty free. Jane Iredale is more of a luxury brand, so you can check the price of her 12g concealer tube, just don’t show your wallet, ha!
I like the simple, sleek packaging. The white and silver tube has a twist off cap and you squeeze the concealer out. The applicator inside is clear and made of plastic that they call “soft gel”.
I chose the shade Dark and it’s the darkest shade that is offered for the Disappearing concealer. This is meant to be a full coverage concealer with two coats, that also soothes any breakouts you may be covering.
There’s my swatch! The concealer is very thin and did not cover my dark circles or blemishes at all. It felt nice on my skin, but I won’t be reaching for this and if I had paid the usual price, I would return this.
- too sheer, not full coverage at all
- nice packaging
- smells ok, doesn’t irritate my skin
I couldn’t even see the product on my skin, so I just don’t have much to say about it! I saw positive reviews from others which is why I say…maybe the Disappearing concealer just isn’t meant for me. I will be happy to try another Jane Iredale product in the future, but I won’t get my hopes too high.
Have you tried anything by Jane Iredale yet?
