Memory keeping ideas are getting more inspiring and unique as the industry grows!
My current FAVORITE way to scrapbook is using The Happy Planner. I’m using a Classic size as my scrapbook this year and I just keep one month at a time in my main planner.
So I have 2 sets of January pages on one set of discs =)
This way my daily planner and memory planner are in one place, and I keep up with memory keeping so much better that way.
The first thing I do is lay some washi tape down between the rows. I love playing with washi!
I just stick with 1-3 pictures for each day since there are only 3 boxes in each column. Usually.
If I really want more pictures for the week, I also have the plastic photo page inserts.
Once all of my photos are in place (see my post on how to print 4×6 photo collages) I start journaling in my scrapbook.
I keep the notes down to a phrase or a sentence or two for the most part, but sometimes I’ll insert a journal card or take up a couple of empty boxes on the page to write.
I saw a video where someone used this cool product, cut down to size, in order to attach a journal card for the week.
Adding cute stickers to the planner page is usually the last thing I do during this memory keeping process. They fill up empty spaces and I love the way embellishments look on the page.
I don’t want to outshine the photos or story, so I keep them pretty simple =)
One tip to keep everything from looking too busy, is to use washi tape and stickers/embellishments that co-ordinate with each other and with your Happy Planner. me & my BIG ideas makes a ton of these for their customers who love The Happy Planner.
There we have it! My week scrapbooked right in my daily life planner. One of my most LOVED memory keeping ideas because it is so cute, quick and easy to keep up with all year.
It is also economical since the planner is inexpensive and the photos are small.
How are you currently memory keeping?
