This is my Smith & Cult Honey Hush swatch and it’s the first time I used polish by Smith & Cult.
I’m very happy with Honey Hush so far. The color is a beautiful tan beige. I used two coats of polish in these photos and the color is nice and opaque.
I’m always skeptical about paying more than $10 for a nail polish; I think, why should I when most of my favorites are so affordable at the drugstore? But Honey Hush by Smith & Cult does not disappoint. The brush made for an easy application (although I prefer a slightly larger bristle fan) and the polish itself laid on thick and smooth.
I highly recommend taking the decorative silver cap off while painting your nails with this, because it is very luxe (read: heavy!!) haha And guess what? My Smith & Cult polishes don’t fit on my acrylic nail polish rack because they’re so chunky, boo. Not their fault, though, I don’t hate them for being beautiful! Won’t stop me from collecting more and finding another way to display them ^_^
Yo! I was trying so hard to take these nail polish swatches for you! There I am up there! haha I swatched Honey Hush the same day my nail polish haul arrived; at first, I thought the Smith & Cult nail polish was lasting super long on my nails with no tip wear. But after swatching another shade on my other hand I think…maybe polishes just don’t wear as quickly on my dominant hand!
Seriously, it’s weird. Polishes show tip wear and chip way faster on my non-dominant hand.
So I like this creamy sandy color against my darker skin tone, but I think it will look great on anyone, especially when you have a summer tan. Honey Hush is a new go-to for me!
What color should I try next?
