For my Smith & Cult nail polish haul, I chose three shades.
There was a deal for Amazon’s luxury beauty department, spend $50 get a $25 credit. Plus another deal I was able to use was get 15% off of your purchase. So that’s what helped me pull the trigger to purchase the Smith & Cult polishes for the first time!
I instantly noticed how heavy each polish bottle is and I love that luxurious feel! The wide circular glass bottle, the curvy decorative metal cap and the sliver Smith & Cult writing on the side…it is so beautiful. All three of my bottle caps are slightly different, by the way, which is pretty cool!
I like that the polishes are made in the USA and Darjeeling Darling is 8 free; I noticed that Honey Hush and Vegas Post Apocalyptic are 5 free, which is interesting. You also get 14 mL of polish in each bottle; my other nail polishes range from 8-12 mL, so this is a generous amount!
The polish above is Smith & Cult’s Vegas Post Apocalyptic and I must admit, the name instantly made me intrigued. I also absolutely love sparkly glitter polishes! I couldn’t find swatches of these three, definitely didn’t find any on dark skin tones like my own, so that helped me choose my shades as well.
I was in some kind of mood when I was hauling nail polishes after Thanksgiving; most of them look like Honey Hush! Neutral is just so easy to wear and it makes me feel sophisticated and edgy. When I was younger, I always wanted to wear super loud and bright colors, but now I see the appeal of neutrals and nudes.
I know it may look like I took the same pic of these polishes 3 times, but I swear they are all different lol. I just love the way these polishes look and I’m so happy with my first Smith & Cult nail polish haul.
Have you tried any nail polishes by Smith & Cult yet?
