Here’s a winter nail art idea that is very easy!
This is something that I did long ago, just playing around one day. I took a white nail polish and painted two coats on my nails. Have you seen the Love My Nails polishes anywhere? I dunno if they even make the brand any more, so I linked to a very popular white shade instead.
Then, I just chose a silver based glitter nail polish (similar to the one I used) to top it off! Don’t mind the pointer nail, I was just testing another shimmery top coat. So yeah, the first pic was with flash on the camera. The second pic is in natural daylight.
This “nail art” looks so cool under direct sunlight because it’s very sparkly, just like fresh snow on a sunny day!
So that is an extremely easy winter nail art idea that anyone can recreate in an instant.
By the way, this reminds me of when I was younger and would get bored in class. I’d sometimes take White Out correction ink from my binder and paint it on my nails! Probably pretty toxic, but who else did that?! =) Using white nail polish makes a much smoother, longer lasting and shinier application, lemme tell ya.
And if you’re curious, the glitter I used in these pics is pretty much my favorite glitter ever and I can’t find it anywhere! It’s by N.Y.C. and it’s called White Lights Glitter. I’m on my 2nd bottle (so glad I bought a back up bottle long ago), but it has thickened up so I have a polish thinner on the way! The N.Y.C. polishes are very affordable and wear nicely, so if you come across one you like, I suggest snatching it up. No regrets!
Do you like painting your nails with glitter top coats?
